I love my city – join us!

Levoča needs your hands. From May 18 to 24, 2026, our city will also participate in the nationwide campaign I love my city – I love my country as part of Volunteer Week, and we cordially invite you to become a part of it.

This idea was brought to us by the Prešov Volunteer Center in cooperation with the Prešov Self-Governing Region, so that we as one of the district towns actively participate in Volunteer Week and the I love my city initiative and thus support the development of volunteering in our region together.

The city's technical services in Levoča have identified specific locations and activities where help is most needed. During the week, volunteers will focus on cleaning the City Cemetery (May 18 and 20), restoring railings in the town (May 19 and 21), and cleaning the surroundings of the water reservoir and the area of Žabia cesta (May 22 and 23). Each activity takes place from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and the technical equipment – bags and gloves – is fully on us.

Anyone can join – individuals, families, groups of friends, schools, and companies. No special skills are required, just a willingness to do something for the city in which you live. Pre-registration by May 10, 2026, will help us prepare enough supplies and properly organize each activity.
