Strachan Run 2026 Trail Run

Runners, get ready for an unforgettable sports experience! We warmly invite you to the second edition of the Strachan Run 2026 trail races, which will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026 in the unique surroundings of Strednica in Ždiar. Depending on your fitness level and running ambitions, you can choose one of three routes:

Route No.1 VIDLA – 8.3 km

An easy yet picturesque route that leads along an educational trail through the history and traditions of Ždiar, passing through Monková Valley and continuing beneath the majestic Plošové Turne.

Route No.2 HAVRAN – 12.8 km

A real challenge for experienced runners! This route takes you along an educational trail through the Freedom Road, the Podtatranská cycling route, and Monková Valley with stunning views of the surrounding nature.

Route No.3 BERNY

For our youngest runners, we have prepared special distances according to age categories:
• 250 meters – students up to 6 years old (2020 and younger)
• 400 meters – students up to 8 years old (2018 – 2019)
• 600 meters – students up to 10 years old (2016 – 2017)
• 600 meters – students up to 12 years old (2014 – 2015)
• 1200 meters – students up to 14 years old (2012 – 2013)
• 1200 meters – students up to 16 years old (2010 – 2011)

The categories up to 10 and 12 years old run the same loop (600 m). The categories up to 14 and 16 years old run two loops (2 x 600 m).
