The Castle and Manor House Liptovský Hrádok is a unique combination of a Gothic fortress and a Renaissance residence that has been welcoming visitors from around the world since August 2010.

The tour begins at the Gothic castle, where you will be transported back to the times of medieval battles and castle aristocracy. An expert guide will tell you about the history of the castle, its inhabitants, and the difficult times it had to overcome. The tour also includes a visit to the interior of the Renaissance manor house with an audiovisual presentation that brings history to life before your eyes.

Both children and adults will enjoy the "castle castellan's chamber" and the impressive "castle chapel." The commentary is delivered in an engaging way, so all age groups will enjoy it - from the youngest explorers to seniors interested in history.

The Castle Surroundings

Liptovský Hrádok lies in the beautiful surroundings of the Liptov region, just a short distance from Liptovská Mara reservoir. In the area, you will find numerous hiking trails, cycling routes, and natural attractions. After the castle tour, you can take a trip to the largest Slovak water reservoir, visit the Museum of the Liptov Village in Pribylina, or enjoy local gastronomy in one of the nearby restaurants.
